This study explores the intricate relationship between leader integrity, moral identification, self-regulation, and ethical leadership behavior within the healthcare sector. Surveying 181 health sector workers, the research reveals that leader integrity significantly influences ethical leadership behavior indirectly through moral identification, with self-regulation moderating this relationship. The findings underscore the importance of fostering leader integrity and cultivating moral identification to promote ethical leadership. Organizations are encouraged to prioritize these initiatives to enhance ethical cultures and leadership behaviors in healthcare.
